Control Machete – Uno, Dos: Bandera is the third and final studio album from the influential Mexican hip hop group Control Machete. Originally released in 2003, the album marked a new chapter for the Monterrey-based group following the departure of Fermín IV. Pato Machete and Toy Selectah developed a darker and more atmospheric sound, combining Latin hip hop, electronic textures, Mexican influences, and dense lyrical delivery.The 13-track album includes “Bandera,” “Bien, Bien,” “Como Ves,” “Paciencia,” “Toda La Casa,” “Nostalgia,” “En El Camino,” “El Apostador,” “De,” “Ahora,” “Nociones (En Alta),” “Verbos,” and “El Genio Del Dub.” Guest appearances include Anita Tijoux, Natalia Lafourcade, Randy Ebright of Molotov, Caballeros del Plan G, and Sekreto, adding different Latin and Mexican musical influences to the project.Control Machete – Uno, Dos: Bandera demonstrates how the group evolved beyond its earlier hardcore rap sound while keeping its distinctive Mexican hip hop identity.
