Hardcore Reps – Fool Proof – The 90's Demos is a collection of rare 1990s demo recordings from a three-man crew based in Far Rockaway, Queens. The group consisted of brothers Damian and Majestic alongside producer Angelo “A.N.G.” Foukas. Originally recorded as demo tapes in 1994 and circulated locally, these recordings capture the raw underground sound of New York Hip Hop before the group moved on to other projects.The eight-track release features “Big Timers,” “Fool Proof,” “Dead Em,” “Rip Code,” “Rip Code (Remix),” “The Music,” “We Raw,” and “Keep It Hot.” All tracks were produced by Angelo “A.N.G.” Foukas, with several songs remastered directly from the original studio DAT recordings. Two tracks also appeared in different versions on Foukas’ 1996 instrumental album.Hardcore Reps – Fool Proof – The 90's Demos was officially released by Chopped Herring Records in 2020, bringing previously hard-to-find 1990s recordings to a new audience. With its raw production, underground Queens identity, and authentic demo-era atmosphere, the project is a valuable listen for fans of obscure 90s East Coast Hip Hop and New York underground rap.
