Boogotop – Ghetto World is the second album from the French hip-hop collective Boogotop, released in 2006. The project continues the group’s tradition of bringing together MCs from different generations and backgrounds, combining French rap, ragga and a wide range of underground hip-hop influences. The album contains 15 tracks and runs for approximately 66 minutes.Boogotop emerged from the Paris region in the early 1990s and became known for its large collective of rappers and artists. The group was initially formed around figures including Doudou Masta, Afrokan, Baron Faty, Junky Feelasz, P38, Sterna, Supa Lexx, Ziko and others. After the collective’s first album, L’Antidote, in 1999, Ghetto World continued its multi-artist approach.The album’s main strength is its diversity.
