Issued through D3 Entertainment, the album followed Bacdafucup: Part II and presented a different approach, blending Onyx's trademark aggression with a more polished and contemporary sound.Onyx – Triggernometry features Fredro Starr, Sticky Fingaz, and Sonny Seeza over production handled entirely by Kronic Tones, giving the album a unified sonic identity. Unlike the group's previous releases, the record combines 10 full songs with 11 short interludes, in which the members share stories and memories from their career.
