K-Rino – K-Rino is the self-titled third studio album by Houston rapper K-Rino. The album was released on October 27, 1998, through Ichiban Records, with Black Book International also credited in connection with the release. It followed Danger Zone and Stories From The Black Book in K-Rino’s early discography. The album contains 11 tracks and has a total running time of approximately 47 minutes.The album opens with “Caught in the Cross (South Park Shit)” and continues with “You Ain’t Real,” “If You’s a Hoe,” “Kill ‘Em,” and “South Park Drama.” The remaining tracks include “Witness,” “A-B-C,” “Temple of Doom,” “Don’t Front a Playa,” a remix of “Caught in the Cross,” and “Lyrical Behavior,” featuring Black Indian.Production credits include K-Rino, Dope E, AC Chill, J.B. Money, Eddie Thomas, and M-Doc, with M-Doc also receiving programming and remixing credits. Rodney Mills handled mastering, while Yuri is credited with engineering and remixing. The album was recorded at East Coast Flavor Studio in Washington, D.C., and Samplified Recordings in Houston, Texas.K-Rino – K-Rino continues the artist’s association with Houston and the South Park Coalition. The track “South Park Drama” directly references the Houston collective, while the album’s credits connect K-Rino with several artists and producers from his established musical circle. K-Rino is also credited as composer and primary artist throughout the project.The album was released in both CD and cassette formats in 1998. Its appearance in K-Rino’s discography came between Danger Zone and No Mercy, establishing it as an important release from the late 1990s period of his career.With its Houston recording locations, South Park references, collaborative production credits, and eleven-track format, K-Rino – K-Rino documents another stage of the rapper’s development during the late 1990s.
