Dangerous Dame – Escape From The Mental Ward is a 1994/1995 Oakland Hip Hop EP released through Anti-Wack Music and No Limit Records. The six-track project captures Dangerous Dame's raw Bay Area style while also marking an early connection with Master P and the No Limit camp. The release features Holy Quran, Spoonie T, and Master P.The EP includes “Live Everyday,” “I'm Your Brother,” “Street Stars,” “Be Their,” “Def, Dumb, And Blind,” and “If You Got It You Got It.” Dangerous Dame handled production on most of the material, with additional production from Dizzy Productions and Al Eaton.Dangerous Dame – Escape From The Mental Ward is a strong example of mid-90s Oakland underground rap, combining gritty West Coast production, street-oriented lyrics, and the unmistakable atmosphere of the Bay Area scene. The collaboration with Master P also makes it an interesting release from the early history of No Limit Records.
